Ikea Reading is a 38,000 sq m furniture store in Calcot. The store includes feature rooms specially designed with ceilings and will have full sensory capabilities to make sure customers feel at home.
Brief
J&J provided sprinkler protection conforming with BS12845 for the new store. Over 7,000 sprinkler heads were installed to cover the 38,000 sq m of retail and storage space. J&J installed twin diesel pumps and two half capacity butyl lined concrete tanks with 900,000L of store water.
